Dr ZHANG XIANLIN 張憲林博士
Chairman of Board
Dr Zhang is a certified professional accountant CPA in China. He received the PhD in Management degree from the Science and Technology University of Central China. He held high leadership position in the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China). He later held various top management positions in the airline industries in Asia, such as the Chairman of Supervisory Board of Air Macau; Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Hong Kong Dragon Airs; Chairman of Supervisory Board of the Air China, and the Chairman of Board of the HNA Group (Hainan Airlines). He has held directorship of many companies especially public companies such the Cathay Pacific Airways (HKSE: 0293), Asia Resources Ltd. (HKSE 0899), and the ASR Holdings (HKSE 1803).
Dr. Zhang has exceptionally strong connection with the banking and financial industry in Hong Kong and China. He is closely associated with the chairman of the HSBC Bank HK, CEO of the Standard Charter Bank HK, the chairman of the Bank of China in Hong Kong and so on. All these relationships supported Pan Main greatly in its large scale investment and commodity trading transactions.
Mr. EUGENE TAN 陳俞锦
General Manager, Trading
Eugene obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom.
He has more than 30 years of experience in business and project developments, mineral and energy commodity trading and corporate management with the world fortune 500 companies. Eugene was formerly a regional business development director with the then Royal Van Leer BV; the president for Asia Pacific with Alcoa Closure Systems International division; the managing director for Asia with Monsanto and Cargill JV, the Renessen LLC; and the CEO for Asia with the Australia ASX listed GRD Ltd.
Eugene involved largely in the iron ore, copper, chrome, bauxite trading and the crude oil, gas fuels, bunker oils and LNG trading in the last 12 years. This is the business segment that Eugene is focusing on in Pan Main Trading Company Ltd.
Mr VICTOR CHUNG 鍾灝文
General Manager, Investment & Financing
Victor graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with the BS degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He joined a hi-tech industry selling advanced computer systems to China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Victor established extensive connections with the Chinese banking industry and the government regulatory bodies for the hi-tech electrical and electronic industries and markets in Asia. He spent years in the manufacturing, import and export trading in the Chinese and Northern American markets.
In the past ten years he focuses on the private equity investment and financial consultation services for a wide range of projects particularly with extensive involvement in the energy and large commodity trades. Victor is responsible for the banking, investment and financing segments of business in Pan Main Trading Company Ltd.
